Uzbekistan's boxers are once again demonstrating their prowess on the international stage. As the quarter-final matches of the World Boxing Cup intensify, representatives of Uzbekistan have recorded convincing results.

In the -65 kg weight category, talented boxer Navbahor Hamidova faced off against home athlete Beatriz Gomes. Throughout the bout, Hamidova left no room for her opponent, maintaining full control over the fight. Consequently, she secured a decisive victory with a 5:0 unanimous decision from the judges.

In the +90 kg weight category, Jahongir Zokirov competed in his second match of the tournament. Squaring off against Bulgaria's Yordan Morejon, Zokirov asserted his dominance as expected. Demonstrating active and confident movement throughout the bout, Zokirov gave his opponent no opportunities. In the end, he also secured an absolute victory with a score of 5:0.

According to reports, these successes have been officially confirmed by the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation.
