Al-Nassr management allowed Jesus to transfer Salah

Al-Nassr management gives Jesus the green light to sign Salah

Reports that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah and Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo could play for the same team are moving closer to reality. The Liverpool forward, who is nearing free-agent status, has become Al-Nassr’s main target. This was reported by Goal.com report.

Al-Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus has approved a plan to sign Salah during the current summer transfer window. The Egyptian footballer's spell at Anfield is expected to end at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, but the Saudi club is ready to bring him into its ranks now.

The success of this transfer also depends on coach Jorge Jesus's future at the club. Negotiations are currently under way between the specialist and the club's management over a contract extension.

If an agreement is reached, the final steps for Salah's transfer will be taken.

Former footballer Paul-Jose M’Poku said Salah's move to the Middle East is inevitable. In his view, for the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund, Salah is the most important target as the region's cultural ambassador.

Salah has played 38 matches for Liverpool in all competitions this season, scoring 12 goals and providing 9 assists. The player is currently at risk of ending the season early because of a knee injury.
