Paul Scholes labels Arsenal boring

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has heavily criticized Mikel Arteta's Arsenal. Despite the team competing for the Premier League and Champions League titles, he described their style of play as "boring." This is reported by Goal.com .
Arsenal is closer to the title than they have been since 2004 and is preparing to face PSG in the Champions League final. Nevertheless, Scholes is hesitant to rank this team among the historically great sides. In his view, the team lacks the creativity to excite fans.
Speaking on "The Overlap" podcast, the former midfielder emphasized that he dislikes the team's defensive and controlled style of play. Scholes specifically finds the long sequences of passing between goalkeeper David Raya and the center-backs to be boring.
Scholes also mentioned Arsenal's results against their main rivals, Manchester City and Liverpool. According to him, to be a truly great team, one must win against top opponents, but Arsenal is struggling in this regard.
