The talented Brazilian forward Endrick is preparing to say goodbye to Lyon this weekend and return to Real Madrid. The player managed to prove himself during his loan spell in the French league, but the Madrid club's management aims to integrate him into their star-studded squad next season. According to Globo Esporte, Endrick will wear the Lyon jersey for the last time in Sunday's match against Lens. After that, he will travel to the Spanish capital with his family. Although the player himself wanted to stay in Lyon, his future remained under the full control of Real Madrid as the loan agreement did not include a purchase option.
Instead of going on vacation, Endrick plans to start individual training at the Valdebebas base starting next week. He aims to maintain his physical condition at a high level to catch the eye of Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti and secure a spot in the final squad for the World Cup.
The Madrid club's directors have informed the player that he will be one of the key projects for the 2026-27 season and will not be loaned out again. Endrick demonstrated his high level by participating in 15 goal-scoring situations in 20 matches for Lyon. Now, he will try to cement his place in the Real Madrid attacking line.
