Antonio Rüdiger agrees to contract extension with Real Madrid

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Antonio Rüdiger has agreed to the terms of a contract extension with Real Madrid. The German national team defender has accepted the club's strict policy on age limits, opting to stay in Madrid for another season. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Under Real Madrid's policy, contracts for players over 30 are extended by only one year. Rüdiger, who initially expected a two-year deal, ultimately accepted the club's demand and chose to remain with the team. This decision stems from the player's belief that his mission at the club is not yet complete.
The previous season was difficult for the defender due to physical issues. Chronic injuries forced him to undergo surgery, but with the help of specialists in London, he was able to overcome the pain. In recent weeks, Rüdiger has regained his top form and is performing consistently.
Having arrived as a free agent from Chelsea in 2022, Antonio Rüdiger quickly became a key starter in Carlo Ancelotti's squad. Despite receiving significant offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, he did not want to leave the Spanish capital and decided to continue his career at Real Madrid.
