Kaka: On the pressure of the Brazil national team and Neymar and Vinicius Junior

In an exclusive interview with GOAL, Brazilian football legend Kaka spoke about becoming a World Champion at 20, the immense responsibility on Vinicius Junior and Neymar, and the 'Seleção's' dreams of a sixth star. Although Kaka was mostly a substitute during the 2002 World Cup, he emphasized that he learned from masters like Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, and Rivaldo. This is reported by Goal.com .
"Back then, I watched them every day. Their behavior in training, their style of play—it was all a school for me. Being on the same team as three Ballon d'Or winners was an incredible experience," Kaka says, recalling those times. Although he played only 25 minutes in that tournament, the feeling of lifting the trophy left an indelible mark on his career.
Kaka also touched upon the unique pressure of playing for the Brazil national team. According to him, this pressure is difficult to explain and incomparable to anything else. Today, stars like Vinicius Junior and Neymar carry this burden on their shoulders. Being Brazilian and playing football is not just about club success, but about fulfilling the hopes of an entire nation.
Kaka, who won the Champions League with Milan and the Ballon d'Or in 2007, is considered one of the greatest players in history. He is one of only 10 players to have won the World Cup, the Champions League, and the Ballon d'Or. The legend, who also played for Real Madrid and São Paulo, shared his thoughts as someone who has experienced the evolution of Brazilian football from within.
