Advertising banners in YouTube Music? Reminder: it's now official!
YouTube Music can now display ads while listening to music. Reddit users have noticed that Google's music service has started displaying banner ads directly within the track window.

As you can see in the image, while listening to Pink Floyd's "At Pompeii" album, a banner ad is placed in the audio track player interface. The ad is called "Get 70% Off" and redirects to a third-party website (getryoko.com) that is not affiliated with Google. That is, the ad content has nothing to do with the music being listened to.

Surprisingly, Google has not yet released any official information about this. The application's latest update log does not mention anything about this feature. At the moment, users assume that this feature is an A/B test that is being gradually implemented.

It should be noted that the only way to get rid of these ads is to switch to a YouTube Premium subscription. Only then will the advertising banners in the interface disappear and it will be possible to listen to music without distracting visual elements.

This step by Google is causing mixed reactions among users. Some are dissatisfied with this, while others consider it a natural process - an advertising-based business model.
