Ukrainian hackers claim to have destroyed servers belonging to a Russian drone manufacturer, reported TechCrunch.
The group, known as BO Team, posted a statement on Telegram saying it had carried out a successful cyberattack against Russia’s Special Technology Center (STC), a company affiliated with the Russian Ministry of Defense that produces “Orlan”-type drones.
According to the hackers, they destroyed STC’s main servers, wiping out data, projects, and internal communications. They also leaked some internal documents and employee information.
Russian officials have not commented on the incident. TechCrunch notes that the claim is difficult to independently verify, but it underscores the growing intensity of the cyberwar between Ukraine and Russia.
