The Starlink project, owned by SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk, will begin operations in Uzbekistan starting in 2026. This official information is published on the Starlink website, where it is stated that the service will be launched in 2026.
Additionally, since August 13, Starlink satellite internet services have officially started in Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan reported that as a result, the country's population will gain access to high-speed and reliable internet through the Starlink network of satellites owned by SpaceX.
Starlink’s technology is an innovation and opportunity for residents of remote or hard-to-reach areas who are disconnected from local internet services. For example, even in remote areas, stable internet connection can be ensured via Starlink. This service, especially, creates an opportunity for internet access in rural and outlying areas.
The innovative project being implemented by SpaceX will help meet the growing demand for the internet not only in Uzbekistan but also throughout Central Asia. The launch of Starlink in Uzbekistan will, in turn, have a significant impact on the country's digital development.
