Allianz Life company announced that it suffered a cyberattack, resulting in the leakage of personal data of nearly 11 million customers, Reuters reported. The data includes names, addresses, and social security numbers.
According to the company, the attack occurred earlier this year, and its consequences have only recently been fully identified. Allianz Life is conducting an investigation in cooperation with specialized cybersecurity experts.
So far, no financial account or credit card information has been compromised. At the same time, customers are advised to take precautionary measures to protect their personal information.
