Apple expanded iPhone production in India

Apple is now manufacturing new iPhone models intended for the US market at five factories in India, including recently launched facilities, Bloomberg reported.

According to the information, all models of the iPhone 17, scheduled to be presented next month, will be produced in India for the first time. Factories owned by Tata Group are expected to account for up to half of the country's iPhone production volume within two years.

Additionally, Apple has significantly increased its export volume from India to the US: iPhones worth 7.5 billion dollars were exported from April to July this year. The company also plans to start manufacturing the iPhone 18 in India in the near future.
