In 2025, 12 startups in Europe became unicorns

In the first half of 2025, 12 startups in Europe closed rounds valued at more than $1 billion, TechCrunch reported.

After the summer break, the investment season in Europe is resuming. Although mega-investment rounds have decreased, a few startups managed to reach a valuation of more than $1 billion. This indicates areas of interest to investors - biotechnology, defense technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Below is a list of European startups that have achieved unicorn status in 2025. Among them are such large projects as Lovable (Sweden), Neko Health (Sweden), Verdiva Bio (Great Britain), Tines (Ireland), Parloa (Germany), Fuse Energy (Great Britain), and Isar Aerospace (Germany).
