At its annual September event, Apple unveiled the Apple Watch SE (3rd generation) — the most affordable model in the lineup, as reported by Rozetked. The SE line hadn't seen an update since 2022, and now it’s getting a meaningful refresh.
Design-wise, not much has changed: rumors about a plastic body didn’t come true — the SE 3 still features a durable aluminum case.
The biggest change is under the hood: the new Apple S10 chip brings SE closer to the high-end models. New features include:
- Always-On Display
- Gesture controls (shake and double-tap)
- Sleep apnea detection
It also now includes a built-in speaker, 5G modem, and twice-as-fast charging — all while maintaining the same 24-hour battery life.
The price remains unchanged at $249. Pre-orders are open now, and sales begin on September 19. Color options include Starlight and Midnight.
With flagship-level features at a budget price, the Watch SE 3 could be the perfect entry point into Apple’s wearable ecosystem. Would you go for it?
