In the United States, a lawsuit has been filed against Tesla. According to the complaint, the company is said to be hiring more foreigners instead of American workers.
Figures show that in 2024, Tesla hired more than 1,300 visa holders, but at the same time laid off over 6,000 local workers.
The complainants — a programmer and a human resources specialist — claim that the company did not hire them because of their citizenship. They argue that paying foreign employees lower wages is more convenient for Tesla.
Tesla has not yet responded to these allegations. The plaintiffs are demanding compensation from the company for American workers who lost their jobs.
