NVIDIA and OpenAI have signed a partnership agreement to advance artificial intelligence. Under the deal, NVIDIA will invest up to $100 billion into OpenAI over the coming years.
The funding will be allocated gradually, with new capacities being introduced. The two companies plan to build a network of data centers with a total power capacity of more than 10 GW. These centers will rely on millions of NVIDIA GPUs to power the infrastructure for future AI products.
The first facility, with a capacity of 1 GW, is expected to be operational by the second half of 2026, utilizing the new NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform.
