The State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan has provided information on the procedure for importing iPhone 17 models into the country, the Customs Committee reported. There are established rules for individuals when transporting new devices.

As a rule, individuals can carry a phone for personal needs up to a certain amount without paying a fee. If the phone is delivered by plane, it will be duty-free up to $1000; by train or ship - up to $500; by car or on foot - up to $300.

For example, if you bring an iPhone 17 Pro Max ($1199) by plane, $1000 is duty-free, and for the remaining $199 you will have to pay 30%, which is approximately $60.
