A US court accused Samsung of using other companies’ ideas without permission. According to the court’s decision, the company must pay 445.5 million dollars to the American firm “Collision Communications.”
“Collision Communications” brought the case to court in 2023. They said Samsung used some of their wireless communication technologies in its phones and laptops without authorization.
These technologies were originally developed by another American company and later became owned by “Collision Communications.” Samsung denied the accusations, saying “these ideas are not valid.”
According to the court’s decision, the company must pay a large sum. However, Samsung has the right to appeal the decision.
