The new Vision Pro 2 with Apple M5 chip has been introduced

Apple has introduced its second-generation Vision Pro model. It is equipped with the new Apple M5 chip, which significantly increases the headset's performance, Rozetked reported.

Based on the new chip, the number of pixels on the headset’s micro-OLED screens has been increased by 10 percent, and the refresh rate has been raised to 120 Hz. The M5 is assisted by the R1 chip: it processes data from 12 cameras, 5 sensors, and 6 microphones in 12 milliseconds, transmitting it to the screens.

Vision Pro 2 has also been improved in terms of autonomy: it works for 2.5 hours during normal use and 3 hours when watching videos. The headset is equipped with a new Dual Knit Band — it holds firmly from the back and top of the head. This strap also fits the previous model. The price remains unchanged: $3499 (about 275 million soums), and sales will start from October 22.
