Anthropic has introduced Claude Code Channels, a new feature that lets users interact with its AI coding agent through Telegram and Discord bots instead of relying only on the Terminal. The update is designed to make remote access easier for developers who want to manage an active Claude Code session from almost anywhere. Reports Iphones.ru.
According to the company, users can set up the bot by following instructions published on the Claude Code website and GitHub. After configuration is complete, messages sent through Telegram are mirrored in the Terminal, where Claude Code processes the request. The AI then returns its response both in the Terminal and inside Telegram, allowing the session to stay synchronized across platforms.
This means developers can check progress, send commands and continue working with Claude Code even when they are away from their main machine. While unofficial community-made bots for Claude Code have existed for some time, Anthropic is now offering an official option that aims to be simpler to deploy, faster to use and more secure.
