Vivo X500 Series: The company may skip the X400 generation

The presentation of Vivo's next flagship smartphones is approaching. The Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500e models have appeared in the GSMA IMEI database. Interestingly, it seems the manufacturer has decided to skip the X400 series entirely and move directly to the X500 series. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.

According to preliminary information, the Vivo X500 will feature a 6.37-inch screen. The X500 Pro model will be equipped with a 6.83-inch LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution and a high refresh rate. Ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanners are expected to be retained, although the dimensions of the smartphones will be slightly larger compared to last year's X300 and X300 Pro models.

The technical foundation of the new series is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 processor, built on TSMC's 2-nanometer technology. The main advantage of the smartphones will again be their camera capabilities.

Pro versions are expected to be equipped with sensors featuring LOFIC technology to improve dynamic range, as well as a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
