It has been revealed that the Vivo X500 smartphone series will be more extensive than expected. The appearance of the Vivo X500 Pro Max model in the IMEI database confirms that, in addition to the Vivo X500e, X500, and X500 Pro models, there is a fourth device in this line. It is speculated that the Vivo X500 Pro Max will remain the most advanced smartphone in the series until 2027, when the Vivo X500 Ultra is expected to be unveiled. The device is expected to feature a 6.9-inch 2K AMOLED display, the new Dimensity 9600 processor, and a 7000 mAh battery with 100W charging capability.
Interestingly, the company decided to skip the X400 series entirely and move directly to the X500 series. According to preliminary data, the base Vivo X500 will have a 6.37-inch screen, while the X500 Pro model will be equipped with a 6.83-inch 2K LTPO OLED panel.
The new smartphones will retain ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanners, but the dimensions of the devices will be slightly larger compared to last year's X300 and X300 Pro models. As a reminder, the Vivo X300 Pro currently holds second place among the best camera smartphones in the DxOMark ranking.
