Russia is purchasing European equipment for microelectronics

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has allocated 256 million rubles for the purchase of European automated Europlacer ATOM 4 equipment for mounting components onto printed circuit boards. According to CNews, this technology is intended for the Gamma research and production enterprise in Moscow. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

According to public procurement data, the new device must have a capacity of at least 75,000 components per hour. It is also adapted to work with 450 × 500 mm boards and will be fully integrated with the existing Europlacer IINEO-IIT Plus and ATOM 3 lines at the enterprise.

This purchase is part of a project to modernize and re-equip the microelectronics design center being implemented by the Gamma center in Moscow. Currently, a complex specializing in small-batch production of radio-electronic products is operating at this site.

It should be noted that in November 2026, the enterprise allocated 142.8 million rubles for the purchase of similar types of equipment. The delivery of this machinery is scheduled for August-November 2026, depending on the readiness of the facility.
