PettiChat is an innovative AI-powered device designed to translate animal sounds into human-understandable information. Although the project's future effectiveness is debated, it has achieved great success on the Kickstarter platform, attracting over 800 users and raising more than $130,000. The device analyzes dog barks or cat meows in real-time to help identify their needs. The system not only translates animal language but also converts human speech into sounds that animals can understand, enabling two-way communication.
Weighing just 27.2 grams, this gadget features an IP56 water resistance rating and is equipped with a magnetic charging system. It easily attaches to a collar and is controlled via a dedicated mobile app. The developers claim the system's accuracy rate is over 90 percent.
Currently, the device can be pre-ordered for $150. PettiChat promises to take communication with pets to a new level, allowing owners to understand their needs precisely without relying on guesswork.
