Xiaomi 17 Max Announced: 8000 mAh Battery and 200 MP Leica Camera

Xiaomi has officially unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 17 Max. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 platform and features a massive 6.9-inch 2K OLED display. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 3800 nits, while 3840 Hz PWM dimming technology prevents eye strain. The display is protected by Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The smartphone's main highlight is its massive 8000 mAh battery. It supports 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. According to Xiaomi's tests, this model offers twice the battery life of the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Camera capabilities are also top-tier: a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 sensor is chosen as the main lens. It also features a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a periscope module with 3x optical zoom. The front camera has a 32-megapixel resolution.
The Xiaomi 17 Max body is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. The device is equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers, and an NFC module. As for pricing, the base 12/256 GB version is priced at $630, while the top 16/512 GB model is $780. The event also featured the affordable Smart Band 10 Pro.
