Artificial Intelligence for the Space Industry to be Created in Russia

The Russian Space Systems (RKS) holding and the Finrul Finance group of companies have reached a strategic partnership agreement in the field of artificial intelligence. Within this framework, plans include creating and training specialized AI models adapted for space industry tasks. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports .
Experts will develop software solutions based on these models, including intelligent chatbots and virtual assistants. Additionally, special pilot projects will be implemented to integrate and test new technologies within the holding's digital architecture.
Initial work under the project is expected to begin in 2026. This collaboration is being carried out as part of the Russian Federation's national project "Digital Economy" and aims to cover all key areas of space instrumentation.
Dmitry Lepeshkin, Director of Information Technology at RKS, noted that the introduction of AI is the next stage of digitalization. This will serve to improve business processes not only at RKS but across the entire rocket and space industry.
