Free Frame Generation for NVIDIA Owners: 007: First Light Optimized for GeForce

Today, May 27, 2026, IO Interactive's highly anticipated game 007: First Light was officially released. This spy action title featuring a young James Bond immediately drew attention for its technical capabilities on PC. This was reported by Ixbt.com .
The game fully supports NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 technology, including the Dynamic Multi Frame Generation feature. This allows for up to a 6x increase in frame rate (FPS) on RTX 50 series graphics cards. Meanwhile, AMD users are once again left at a disadvantage.
In 007: First Light, only the FSR 3.1.5 upscaler is implemented from AMD technologies, while the AMD Frame Generation feature is completely absent. Furthermore, support for FSR 4 and XeSS 2.0 is not planned for the game. This means that owners of Radeon RX 7000/8000 series cards will not be able to achieve the same high performance as GeForce users.
IO Interactive is actively collaborating with NVIDIA, focusing on cutting-edge solutions, including an upcoming ray tracing patch. Previously, it was reported that the game received very high ratings from critics.
As a reminder, information about the unannounced DLSS 5 technology was recently discovered in NVIDIA driver 610.47.
