Malaysian Five Petroleum May Establish a Fuel Station Network in Uzbekistan
Malaysian company Five Petroleum is considering establishing a network of fuel stations in Uzbekistan along with the transport and logistics infrastructure required to support them, reports the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

Prospects for Cooperation
Bahodir Siddikov, chairman of Uzbekneftegaz, recently met with Five Petroleum’s CEO to discuss creating a fuel station network under the Malaysian brand. The meeting also addressed introducing modern technologies and international standards to improve product and service quality.

Transport and Logistics
Five Petroleum is exploring opportunities to build transport and logistics infrastructure in various regions of Uzbekistan, ensuring smooth operations for its proposed fuel station network.

Strategic Partnership
Both parties agreed to deepen their partnership and develop initiatives of strategic importance for Uzbekistan’s fuel and energy sector.

Additional Initiatives
In the summer of 2024, Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Malaysia met with King Lim Chin Fui, founder and CEO of Five Petroleum, to discuss investment opportunities. The talks included cooperation in producing non-alcoholic beverages and supplying aluminum containers, as well as creating a fuel station network equipped with modern technologies in Tashkent, with plans to expand to other regions.

About Five Petroleum
Founded in 2020, the Five Petroleum brand currently manages over 110 fuel stations across Malaysia. The company also owns a 60% stake in BHPetrol, which operates more than 400 stations.
