What is the weather expected to be like at the end of the week?

Despite the increase in air temperature by 2-3 degrees over most of Uzbekistan during the weekend, it will still be below normal values, the Uzhydromet agency reports.

Relatively cold weather will persist across Uzbekistan on Friday. Snowfall is possible in some places in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, and light precipitation (rain, snow) is possible in Bukhara and Navoi regions. Rainless weather is expected in the remaining regions of the republic.

On Saturday, March 1, precipitation is not expected in most of the republic, except for some rain and snow in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region.

On Sunday, precipitation will occur in most regions of the republic (except for the Fergana Valley). Precipitation is expected in the central regions and in the south of the republic in the second half of the day.

Due to the arrival of cold air in the northwestern and desert regions of the republic, the air temperature will gradually decrease and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region on Sunday at night will be -7...-12 degrees, in the daytime -3...+2 degrees, in the night -2...+3 degrees, in the daytime 0...+5 degrees.

Fog is possible in some parts of the republic. The wind will blow at a speed of 7–12 meters/second, and on February 28 and March 2 in some places it will increase to 15–20 meters/second.

On February 28 and March 2, mainly dry weather will be observed in Tashkent, only on Sunday evening precipitation is possible, the wind speed will increase to 10–12 meters/second.
