Uzbek businesses to pay taxes in two installments per year

Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan will be allowed to pay land tax and rental fees in two stages throughout the year, reported nova24.uz.

During a recent presidential meeting, officials were instructed to develop proposals for improving tax and customs administration with input from academics and business leaders. The goal is to reduce pressure on businesses and boost budget revenues.

Local councils will be allowed to set increasing coefficients based on business capacity, provided thorough analysis is conducted. The Prime Minister and other officials are also tasked with maintaining dialogue with exporters and producers. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
