“Desert Star” tourist complex to be built in Khiva

A tourist complex called “Desert Star” will be built in Khiva, the kursiv.media website reported. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this during the opening ceremony of the “Arda Khiva” tourism center. Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov will oversee the project.

For the construction of the complex, 2,400 hectares of land in the Khiva district will be allocated. Construction is planned to begin this year. According to the president, the “Desert Star” area will feature hotels, restaurants, museums, and extreme tourism facilities.

In Tuproqqala district of Khorezm region, safari and hunting tourism will also be developed. Additionally, tourist villages are planned to be established in four districts of the region.

Mirziyoyev also announced the creation of a smart museum near the Ma’mun Academy. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
