9,000 hectares allocated for livestock development in Syrdarya
In the Syrdarya region, plans are underway to return 20,000 hectares of land to agricultural use over the next two years, reports Kursiv Media. This was announced to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting on the development of the region's agro-industrial complex.

By the end of the year, modernization of the "Ung tarmoq" canal will be completed. This will save up to 40% of water and improve irrigation on 27,000 hectares.

To develop livestock farming, three complexes will be established on 9,000 hectares. Additionally, new technologies for cotton cultivation will be implemented on 7,000 hectares.

The president was informed that 8,000 hectares of orchards and vineyards will be transferred to entrepreneurs, and export-oriented production will begin on 2,000 hectares of land.
