Next digital reform in defense: summons now delivered electronically
Uzbekistan has entered a new, modern phase in summoning citizens to defense departments. According to the head of the Ministry of Defense Department, Temur Narziyev, call-up notices will now be delivered not in traditional paper form, but via electronic notifications.
How will it work?
Electronic summons will be sent to conscripts and citizens required for military service via the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services (my.gov.uz). Notifications will appear in the special "Messages" section, and every user will be able to access them through their personal account.
The summoned individual must arrive at the designated district or city defense office at the specified time with a birth certificate, passport, and military registration documents.
Currently in test mode
At present, the system is operating in test mode. Therefore, paper call-up notices are still being used. However, full digitalization of the system and complete transition to the electronic format is expected in the near future.
Conveniences for contract-based service
Citizens wishing to join military service on a contract basis can also now submit applications through the electronic portal. This system helps eliminate artificial barriers, paperwork burdens, and corruption.
Psychological testing also digitized
Another update in the defense system is the digitalization of psychological screening for candidates. A modern electronic platform is now used instead of paper-based tests. Results appear immediately on screen, ensuring transparency and speed of the process.
Final word
The digitalization process in Uzbekistan's defense system is being implemented step by step. The new electronic summons system not only creates convenience for citizens, but also improves the overall transparency and efficiency of the process. These reforms contribute greatly to shaping modern, fast, and fair public services in the country. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
