Experts and forecasters have clearly stated that under the influence of hot air currents coming from the south, on June 16-17 in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, and on June 17-19 throughout the republic, the air temperature will rise to 40-42 degrees during the day, and in some desert and southern regions to 43-44 degrees.
There is no escaping the heat, it's hot at night
The effects of the heat will also be noticeable at night: the air will be around 24-27 degrees, with a slight coolness only in the morning hours. This can cause inconvenience to the population and reduce the quality of sleep. The temperature will drop slightly by the end of the week - daytime temperatures will be 35-38 degrees, and in the south - around 39-41 degrees.
Partly cloudy, windy and dusty days are expected
In Tashkent, mostly partly cloudy weather will remain, no precipitation is expected. In the capital today, it will warm up to 36-38 degrees, and on June 17-19 - up to 38-41 degrees, and on June 20 it will be slightly cooler - around 35-37 degrees.
On June 16-18, in the north and in the desert regions, and on June 19-21, in many regions, there is a high probability of strong winds (13-18 m/s) and dust in some places. At the same time, on June 20, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in mountainous regions.

Joining the rapid hydrometeorological information of “Uzhydromet”, the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing and Public Health reminded of important recommendations for protecting yourself on hot days:
