It's unbearably hot even in the shade: temperatures are rising to 44 degrees Celsius
The weather forecast announced for July 17 in Uzbekistan urges every person to be cautious. According to official information distributed by “Uzhydromet,” extremely hot weather is expected across the country, and in some places, the heat will be unbearable.

In Tashkent city, dry and rainless weather is expected for residents and visitors of the capital. The temperature at night will be around 22–24 degrees, and during the day the air will heat up to 38–40 degrees. It is not recommended to walk outside, especially in the sun — even in the shade, the temperature is expected to be quite high.

In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, the wind from the east may reach speeds of 9–14 m/s. In some locations, dusty wind may make the air even heavier. Daytime temperatures may rise to 43 degrees.

In Bukhara and Navoi regions, today will be not only hot but also windy. In some areas, the wind may intensify up to 18 m/s. In sandy and desert areas, the air may warm up to 30 degrees at night. During the day, the temperature will be around 43 degrees.

In Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, and Tashkent regions, residents will experience a very hot day. In some places, strong winds and dust clouds are possible. Night temperatures will be 21–26°, and daytime temperatures 36–41°.

In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the situation is no different. According to weather data, in these two regions, with wind and dust, the temperature may reach up to 44 degrees.

In the Fergana Valley, relatively calmer weather is expected. However, heat up to 40 degrees will also be recorded here. Night temperatures are expected to be 20–25 degrees.

In foothill and mountainous areas, the temperature will be somewhat lower compared to other regions. However, even here, heat up to 30–35 degrees is expected. The wind may intensify up to 13–18 m/s.

Under such weather conditions, doctors and specialists recommend people protect themselves from direct sunlight, increase water intake, and avoid being outside during peak sun hours if possible. Children and the elderly should be especially careful.

Local authorities are taking measures against the current heat wave. In hot areas, necessary information is being distributed to citizens, and shade and water supply have been strengthened at recreational sites.

The most important matter for the population is to protect their own and their loved ones' health. Carelessness in hot weather can lead to serious consequences. Therefore, each citizen is required to plan their daily activities according to the weather conditions.
