Mutual cooperation, humanity, and children's friendship — this initiative has become centered around these principles. At the proposal of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, 99 children from Russia’s Belgorod and Bryansk regions began a two-week health-focused holiday at the "Anor" children’s recreational camp located in the mountains of Tashkent region.
This was officially reported by the Russian Embassy in Uzbekistan. It was noted that a ceremonial welcome was held for the children at Tashkent International Airport. The event was attended by Russia’s acting chargé d'affaires in Uzbekistan Andrey Lanchikov, the leadership of Uzbekistan’s Trade Unions Federation, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the embassy's official statement, it was emphasized that such a bright and kind initiative is being held for the first time:
“We express our gratitude to the government of Uzbekistan. This initiative will certainly leave unforgettable memories in the lives of the children. We are thankful for the hospitality and warm attitude,” the statement said.

The "Anor" camp offers children not only wellness but also the chance to make friends, learn about different cultures, and enjoy quality time in nature. Educational and cultural programs, sports competitions, eco-tours, and creative activities are expected to make the vacation even more meaningful and beneficial.
This project strengthens not only bilateral relations between the two countries but also nurtures the younger generation in a spirit of cooperation, friendship, and tolerance. The impressions the children take back may serve as a foundation for deeper mutual ties.
It is worth noting that such initiatives are expected to be repeated more frequently and on a larger scale in the future. After all, the younger generation is the foundation of the future. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
