At yesterday’s meeting of the head of state with entrepreneurs, it was noted that the number of marketplaces has increased from 24 to 163 in the last three years, Uz24 reported.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that entrepreneurs have learned to export their products through digital platforms. They have also demanded VAT refunds for products sold on national and foreign marketplaces, similar to traditional exports.
The head of state instructed officials to approve this process and implement it in practice. It was also mentioned that a five-year strategy will be developed to increase and support fintech startups.
The "Open Banking" ecosystem will be introduced, serving as a bridge between banks, fintech companies, and startups.
In the coming years, the volume of investments directed to startup projects is planned to increase tenfold compared to the current level.
