In January–June 2025, 3.8 million tons of vegetables were harvested across Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Surkhandarya region became the leader in vegetable production — nearly 720 thousand tons of crops were harvested in this area. Andijan region ranked second (671 thousand tons), and Fergana region was third (512 thousand tons).
The least amount of vegetables was grown in Jizzakh region (64 thousand tons) and Karakalpakstan (60 thousand tons). In other regions, the yield ranged from an average of 76 thousand tons to 375 thousand tons.
