Mirziyoyev to participate in historic military parade in China

On September 3, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in a military parade in Beijing dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the liberation of China from Japanese occupation. This was reported by Kursiv.media.

The presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan are invited to the celebration. The leaders of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and for the first time since 2019 - the leader of the People's Republic of China, Kim Jong Un, will arrive in the PRC. A total of 21 foreign leaders received invitations.

The parade will be the largest after the pandemic. For the first time, spectators will be shown hypersonic missiles, electronic warfare systems, new-generation drones, ZTZ-201 tanks, and Dunfen-31 missile systems.

About 10 thousand military personnel, more than 100 aircraft, and hundreds of units of modern equipment will participate in the march. The festive events will be a continuation of the SCO summit.
