In Tashkent, camera surveillance of prices has been established at affordable fairs

According to the press service of the capital's khokimiyat, control is being strengthened at special trade fairs organized in Tashkent to provide products at affordable prices for the population.

According to the information, at the initiative of the khokimiyat and the prosecutor's office department, fairs of discounted products were organized in large markets. However, in recent days, there have been reports on social networks that some sellers are trading at prices different from those officially announced. This situation caused public discontent.

Therefore, to ensure transparency and prevent artificial price increases, work has begun on installing surveillance cameras in stalls selling discounted products.

So far, the installation of cameras has been completed at the Mirabad farmers market and the Eski Juva (Chorsu) market. According to official information, this process will be continued in stages, and soon full camera surveillance will be introduced at affordable fairs in all major markets of the capital.

Thus, by establishing strict control over prices, it is planned to ensure transparency in trade and ensure the provision of affordable products intended for the population at truly established prices.
