20 million dollars allocated for schools in Uzbekistan

At the international forum "From Poverty to Prosperity" held in Namangan, the "Ishonch" fund announced that it will allocate 20 million dollars to improve the quality of schools in Uzbekistan, reports the Latipov telegram channel.

The funds will be directed towards installing water supply, sanitation and hygiene, environmentally friendly energy, and safe heating systems in schools. 45 rural schools will be renovated, creating comfortable and safe learning conditions for 31,500 children, especially adolescent girls.

Additionally, 2,700 teachers and staff will be trained on climate resilience and hygiene. The project will be monitored by the public in real-time through the "My Best School" portal.
