Starting tomorrow, a nationwide cleanliness month begins throughout the country

In accordance with the President's instructions, starting October 15, a nationwide month of cleanliness and improvement will begin throughout Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.

According to the data, throughout the month, work will be carried out in all regions of the country - from mahallas and villages to city centers - to ensure cleanliness, landscaping, and ecological order.

Who participates in the month of cleanliness

According to the organizers, state organizations, educational institutions, youth, and volunteers will participate in the campaign on a large scale. Mass hashars will be organized in schools and kindergartens, streets, residential areas, parks, and recreation areas.

At the same time, special "plogging" events will be held with the participation of young eco-activists and volunteers - that is, along with running, waste collection campaigns. It is expected that the leadership of the Ministry of Ecology, heads of local authorities and organizations will also personally participate and set a personal example.

Environmental control will be strengthened

Within the framework of the month, special headquarters will be created jointly with the Prosecutor General's Office, the National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Ecology. They will strengthen environmental control in each region, district, and city and provide daily information to the public.

In addition, regular raids against environmental violations will be organized during the month of cleanliness. According to the Ministry of Ecology, control will be further strengthened through online surveillance cameras currently installed in all regions of the republic.

The goal is to make cleanliness a habit

According to environmentalists, this initiative will serve not only to clean the environment, but also to form an ecological culture among the population. "Our main goal is to make cleanliness a daily habit, not a one-day one," the ministry said in a statement.
