End of extravagance at Uzbek weddings: 90 days of "rhythmic" initiative has begun

A new program has been developed in Uzbekistan aimed at limiting excessive waste at weddings and ceremonies, forming a culture based on norms and national values. This initiative was announced by the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment in cooperation with a number of organizations.

It was reported that during a roundtable discussion with representatives of state and public organizations, a 90-day action plan was approved to "spread the culture of rhyme." This plan outlines tasks such as calling on the population to refrain from extravagance and excessive luxury, awakening public consciousness, and promoting the compact and sincere conduct of ceremonies.

This program will be implemented with the participation of the Center for Spirituality, the Association of Mahallas, the Committee for Religious Affairs, the Committee for Family and Women, as well as the "Nuroniy" Foundation. Within the framework of the program, it is planned to organize promotional events, open conversations, seminars, and meetings with young people.

In addition, through the "Cinema Caravan" media project, it is planned to instill healthy views in the minds of young people through films and videos promoting anti-waste ideas.

This initiative is expected to serve, first of all, to strengthen a healthy atmosphere in society by preserving national values, holding weddings and ceremonies in a sincere and economical manner, and reducing excessive burden and financial pressure.
