Today, an extraordinary session of the City (District) Council of People's Deputies was held in Guliston city, as well as in G'ijduvon and Bo'ka districts. The regional governors (hokims) directly participated in the sessions, which were held in a critical and analytical spirit, sharply discussing shortcomings in the areas.
Unsatisfactory Assessment of Leaders' Performance
During the discussion, the efforts of the former first leaders of the city and districts were assessed as unsatisfactory regarding a number of shortcomings in the territories, particularly in issues such as poverty reduction, ensuring population employment, and developing and implementing new investment projects. In all three regions, the organizational matter was considered due to these exact reasons, and relevant decisions were adopted.
New Appointments
The Hokim of Guliston city, Khojimanov Jamoliddin Husniddinovich, was relieved of his post, and O'ktamjonov Farrukh O'ktamjonovich, who had been working as the first deputy head of the Syrdarya Regional Internal Affairs Department until today, was approved for the position.
In G'ijduvon district, instead of the former hokim Ashurov Sherzod Rakhimovich, Umarov Farhod Baqoyevich, who had been serving as the Director of the "G'ijduvon" Free Economic Zone Directorate until today, was approved for the position of district hokim.
In Bo'ka district too, Begmatov Bakhtiyor Pakhriddinovich was relieved of his post, and the candidacy of Isoqulov Sardor Dadajonovich, who was currently serving as the acting hokim of Parkent district, was approved for the position.
These sharp changes indicate the demand for high performance from leaders in social and economic matters.
