Increased danger in Tashkent and Namangan: possible snow drifts

Uzgidromet has announced that from December 6 to 9, the probability of snow avalanches in the Tashkent and Namangan regions is high. Due to the expected precipitation and a sharp change in temperature, the level of danger in some mountainous areas has increased.

In particular, snow avalanches may occur in the following areas:

• Tashkent region — Bostanliq, Ohangaron, Parkent districts (mountainous part of the Chatkal range)
• Namangan region — Pop district

Experts ask residents of mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers traveling through these routes to be more cautious.

As weather conditions may change rapidly, it is recommended to follow the warnings.
