A passenger plane of Air Samarkand, departing from Jeddah to Tashkent, was forced to make an emergency landing at a Bahraini airport during the flight. This was caused by a sharp deterioration in the health of one of the older passengers on board.
It was reported that the passenger's heart stopped during the flight. Taking the situation into account, the crew immediately made a decision to land at the nearest airport. After the plane landed in Bahrain, a medical team was called on board.
The passenger was provided with first aid as much as possible on board the plane. Resuscitation measures were subsequently carried out by local doctors.
After the emergency, the aircraft underwent the necessary technical inspections and was supplied with fuel. After that, the flight continued to Tashkent.
As a result, the plane arrived at the capital's airport with a delay of about 2 hours and successfully landed at 9:49 a.m. local time.
