Tashkent master plan updated for 16 billion dollar projects

The master plan of Tashkent is moving to a new stage. To develop urban infrastructure and create comfortable conditions for the population, 31 major projects worth a total of $16.2 billion have been approved. These changes will serve to shape the capital's appearance based on modern requirements.

According to the approved program, the majority of projects, 28 in total, are aimed at building modern residential complexes and public service facilities. It is also planned to build 5 new hotels, 2 large business centers, trade and business complexes, a modern medical center, and comfortable dormitories for students.

Innovations in urban planning policy are not limited to construction. According to the amendments to the master plan, renovation strategies will be implemented in 203 areas, reconstruction in 46 areas, and conservation in 23 areas. These measures will allow for the harmonization of the capital's historical and modern parts and the efficient use of urban areas.
