The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has adopted a special resolution on properly welcoming and organizing the 2026 Navruz national holiday at a high level. This document is a logical continuation of the large-scale reforms being implemented in our country to ensure human dignity, rights, and interests, as well as to improve the well-being of our people.
The resolution emphasizes that the Navruz holiday, with its ancient values such as humanism, tolerance, generosity, and kindness, plays an important role in strengthening the atmosphere of peace and harmony in our society. Celebrated as the Eastern New Year, this date is of great importance in preserving the historical traditions of our people and passing them on to the younger generation.
In accordance with the document, specific tasks have been assigned to relevant ministries and departments to hold the holiday in a festive spirit. Navruz celebrations are planned to be organized in all regions of our country, in neighborhoods, and educational institutions, along with events that glorify our national values. Also, special attention will be paid to establishing the principles of social justice, providing assistance to those in need, and conducting charity events during the holiday days.
