“New Generation of Entrepreneurs” program to be launched

In accordance with a new resolution adopted on April 20, 2026, the “New Generation of Entrepreneurs” program will be launched, Uza.uz reports. This program is being implemented within the framework of the “Youth of New Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy and is aimed at ensuring youth employment and increasing entrepreneurial potential.
Under the program, 20,000 young individuals will be trained in entrepreneurship by 2030. They will undergo specialized education with the participation of local and foreign experts. Additionally, cooperation with the private sector will be established, with a particular focus on developing practical business skills. The training sessions will cover areas such as business project development, market entry, and scaling operations.
At the conclusion of the program, testing will be conducted, and certificates will be awarded to 1,000 young people who demonstrate the highest results. Based on these certificates, they will be allocated loans for a term of up to 3 years, with a 6-month grace period, at a rate equivalent to 50 percent of the Central Bank's base rate. Furthermore, costs for new farms and infrastructure will be partially covered by the state.
