Rain and wind expected on May 1

On Friday, May 1, Uzbekistan will experience variable weather with precipitation expected in most regions. This was reported by Uzhydromet.
According to the forecasters' outlook, the weather in Tashkent will be changeable throughout the day. Short-term rain is possible in the evening, and thunderstorms may occur in some areas. The wind will blow from the east at a speed of 3–8 m/s, potentially strengthening to 10–12 m/s at times. Temperatures will range from 17–19° at night to 28–30° during the day.
No precipitation is expected in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region. However, wind speeds will be 7–12 m/s, with gusts reaching up to 18 m/s in some areas, and dust storms are possible. Temperatures will be 12–17° at night and 20–25° during the day.
In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some areas. Temperatures will range from 15–20° to 20–25°.
Rain is also possible in some parts of the Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions. Daytime temperatures will rise to 25–30°.
There is also a possibility of short-term precipitation in the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions. Daytime temperatures will be 24–29°.
In the valley regions — Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana — rain is possible in some areas. Temperatures will be around 25–30°.
In mountainous and foothill areas, there is a risk of rain, thunderstorms, and even flash floods. Temperatures in these regions will be 7–12° at night and 17–22° during the day.
According to meteorologists, May will begin with unstable weather. Rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms are possible in the first days of the month. At the same time, overall temperature indicators are expected to be slightly higher than average.
