According to WSJ, Elon Musk has officially submitted a request to OpenAI’s board of directors, offering $97.4 billion to acquire the company.

Musk was involved in the creation of ChatGPT but later left the project. Over the years, he has criticized OpenAI for making AI services paid, arguing that artificial intelligence should be accessible to everyone for free.

In response, ChatGPT CEO Sam Altman made a bold counteroffer:
"If you want, we’ll buy Twitter for $9.74 billion."
